My name is Sam and I have been a lifelong Greyhounds fan. I enjoy storytelling, so this is a perfect match. As I begin this "passion project", I want the fans of the team to hear or re-hear the stories directly from those who were there - the players, coaches, general managers and media personalities.
The Greyhounds are more than just a hockey team in a small Northern Ontario community. The rink is where citizens socialize during the cold winter months, many of whom look forward to every home game no matter of the conditions outside, sharing their thoughts with one common theme - their Soo Greyhounds.
I describe the fans as 4500 general managers in the stands. They will let you know if they disagree with a bad call or if someone is dogging it on any given evening. I want to say thank you for all of the overwhelming support from both fans and players.
